In November ESA applied and interviewed for an office space in the new Student Activity Center (SAC) which is located in the new University Square building. The purpose of the SAC is to provide a centralized area where many UW-Madison organizations can work and collaborate. It provides organizations with a cubby space or storage locker, not to mention all the benefits that come with the creation of a brand new building. Some of those benefits include state of the art meeting and conference rooms, a large rooftop deck, study areas including a study lounge with a fireplace, a multipurpose room equipped for dancing, student-art lined gallery hallway, kitchen organizations can check out for cooking, coffee cart and vending machines, not to mention numerous windows, comfy chairs, computers, lockers, and a bridge.

ESA worked with the Wisconsin Alumni Association's Marketing Group Fall 2008 through Spring 2009 to create a new logo.
ESA has its first Corporate Sponsor: BP
ESA applied for funding from BP, a global energy company. ESA was awarded with a grant from BP in July 2009. This is a great milestone in the history of ESA. ESA will strive to gather more support locally and nationally to further ESA's growth and scope of events.
